IAT blog post

Some major things that stood out in the chapter taken out of " Malcom Gladwell ", were the fact that they choose a president just because he was a very handsome man that,"looked like a strong leader." When in fact he was one of the worst presidents in the history of the United States of America. The message in this passage is basically a saying a lot of people use on a daily bases the saying is," Don't judge a book by its cover." This basically means that you never guess who some one is just by their looks they might be completely different then they look. A girl might be just stunning but she is actually very mean and snide. This chapter should tell everyone they shouldn't just rush to things you should really look in to what you are getting yourself into and realize if you want to stay with this decision or not. We can undo our bias thoughts if we find good in the evil thing that we are bias against. If we were looking for a good leader there is a lot of things to look for but if you really want some main things you should look for here are some good ones. First of a leader should a strong voice and good speaking skills. Second the should be for the people and how to make the country better then it already is. The third and final thing is he or she must be very intelligent.
The test i took for the IAT was the one against Obama and Islam. The test said i was very bias against Obama but who isn't. When that came up I wasn't very surprised. My family is very republican so we do not agree with anything that is happening in this country we live in.
